Warranty Policy
This warranty is provided by TREKFAR LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) and applies to physical products purchased directly from us or through an authorised reseller.
1. What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
If a defect arises within the warranty period and you notify us, we will assess the issue. If the defect is confirmed and the product has been used as intended, we will, at our discretion:

Repair the product; or

Replace the defective part or product; or
-
Provide a full or partial refund
All warranty remedies will be provided free of charge for parts and labour. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished.
2. Who Is Covered
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product, where the item was purchased:

Directly from TREKFAR LTD; or
-
From an authorised reseller
This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to subsequent owners.
3. Warranty Period

Rooftop tents and products: 2 years from the date of purchase
Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply to ex-display, returned, or refurbished products unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, please contact us via our website using our ‘Contact Us’ page and provide the following:

Your order number or proof of purchase

A clear description of the issue
If your product was purchased through an authorised reseller, you may be asked to contact them initially.
After reviewing your claim, we will decide (at our discretion) the most appropriate solution, which may include:

Providing guidance for a simple repair

Sending replacement parts
-
Offering a replacement product
-
Requesting return of the product for inspection, repair, or replacement
5. Repairs & Replacement Process
5.1 Field Repairs (Replacement Parts)
Many issues can be resolved by replacing individual parts.
Where appropriate, we will:

Send replacement parts free of charge

Provide instructions to assist with installation
If you are unable to carry out the repair yourself, we may contribute towards reasonable repair costs, subject to prior approval.
5.2 Returns, Repairs or Replacement
If a return is required:

We will arrange collection or return instructions

If the claim is valid, we will cover reasonable shipping costs within the UK (or countries we ship to)

The product will be repaired or replaced and returned at our expense
If no fault is found or the issue is not covered under warranty, we may return the product at your cost.
6. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

Second-hand or resold products

Normal wear and tear from regular use

Cosmetic damage (e.g. scratches, dents, fading, rust)

UV-related cosmetic fading of fabric or materials
-
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, or improper storage
-
Damage caused by accidents, extreme weather, fire, or other external factors
-
Damage caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications
-
Products that have been altered or modified in any way
-
Products with removed or damaged branding
-
Producs that have been stolen/ lost.

Products used for commercial purposes (including rentals)
-
Consumable components expected to degrade over time (where applicable)
7. Extended Warranty (Rooftop Tents Only)
We offer an optional extended warranty period of up to 5 years for rooftop tents, structured as follows:

Years 1–2: Covered under the standard warranty (full coverage)

Years 3–5: Extended warranty (limited coverage)
During the extended warranty period:

We will repair or replace defective parts caused by material or manufacturing faults

Customers may be required to contribute towards:

The cost of replacement parts

Shipping costs
All extended warranty coverage is:

Subject to normal use
-
Non-transferable
-
Subject to the same exclusions listed in Section 6
8. Your Legal Rights
This warranty is provided as an additional benefit and does not affect your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection laws.
